FINRA fined $25,000 and suspended Partho Sarathi Ghosh (CRD #1983427) located in Princeton, New Jersey for engaging in outside business activities without providing prior written notice to his member firm. Moreover, Ghosh submitted the outside business activity request several months later, the firm denied it, but he continued conducting business through the company. Then within a few weeks, Ghosh resigned when the firm told him that his business model was not compatible with the firm and its affiliate’s business.
